This summer on Keats Island Maya, with our friends, helped rescue a seal pup! Our Friend Tara first spotted the pup on the beach from the cabin. We called the Aquarium rescue/rehabilitation centre before touching the pup. With a text photo they told us to take it in for a sleepover in our cabin. We were to keep it is a dry bin, in a warm dark closet and give it no food. The next morning we boated it over to get picked up by Norm, a volunteer animal rescuer. He delivered the pup to the rehabilitation center the that the Aquarium runs. We named our seal pup "Plumpkin Tamali"
